Brother Sentenced To Prison For Part In Family Murder

A western Pennsylvania man was sentenced Thursday to 12.5 to 25 years in prison for helping his brother kill his family in Dauphin County.

Under a plea deal, Scott Wholaver testified he and his brother Ernest drove to Jean Wholaver’s Middletown home on Christmas Eve.

That is when Ernest Wholaver murdered his estranged wife and her two daughters.

Ernest Wholaver received the death penalty.
