When I got this email from Justin asking me to write a review on him on this site, I dropped everything I was doing to do it. Unfortunately, my daughter has a drug problem. We have been struggling with it for years in the family. She was caught by the police and sold to an undercover. Justin made it get through ARD so she would have no felony on her record and is now a college student and has a bright future. We cannot believe how great he is.

Unfortunately I am the owner of some bad decisions in my life. Choosing the McShane Firm isn’t one of them. This was my second DUI case and I was afraid that I was going to lose my license. This time I only had some light drinks but was unlucky and got pulled over. Obviously, I was very scared and confused. How would my prior violation affect this case? Am I going to jail? Will I lose my license? These were just some of the questions swirling around in my head. I settled down and called a bunch of lawyers. The first one that called me back was Attorney Tim Barrouk. The first thing I liked about him was his compassion. He really cares about his clients and fighting for their rights. Tim was willing to do the dirty work that other attorneys in my previous cases were not. Where they settled and took the easy road, Tim went to bat for me. Watching Tim in trial is remarkable. When he sets foot in the courtroom, he is the expert. From the onset of his cross-examination, the state trooper, (who had over twelve years of experience) never had a chance. The result- Not Guilty. I highly recommend Attorney Tim Barrouk to anyone facing a DUI violation. His knowledge and hard work is unmatched- and that’s why he is the best.

This was not my first marriage that ended up in a bitter divorce. However, I can say that Shawn handled this case much better than my previous case. The important things to me were getting this over with and protecting my assets. Shawn made sure that I was protected and treated fairly. When we first met we drew up a plan of how we wanted this to all work out. I can say that everything went according to our plans. I highly recommend Shawn. He’s the one you want in your corner.

I had a BAC of .19, so I thought it was only a formality before I was cooked. A friend of mine told me to consult with The McShane Firm. David Hoover took my case and I am very happy he did. He was able to get all of the charges against me dropped because the police did not follow the correct roadside procedures. I was thrilled at the result and highly recommend David to anyone who finds themselves in a case they think they can’t win.

I want to sincerely thank you for your incredible honesty, integrity, and professionalism in the case of my DUI back in February, 2009.
After my arrest on December 29, 2007 you have given my case the care and respect beyond what any other attorney wanted to give me. After the initial meeting with you I was impressed so much that I actually could not believe what I was hearing. You described how you would go about handling my case and described to me what no other attorney could describe because of their lack of knowledge and experience in this field. I had sat down with two other attorney’s in the DUI field and came out in a very depressed state. The first attorney told me to just plead guilty, the other attorney said for $500 he would take care of my case. He never said exactly how or what he would do for me.
When I sat down with you Mr. McShane you told me how this was my livelyhood, I realize even more today how important it was, I could never have worked with another trucking company or any other job of any meaning if I would have been convicted of DUI, for that matter I would had lost my job of $23 per hour driving truck. It was your persistence and determination to see to that I was found NOT GUILTY. I had been to the Dauphin County Courthouse over 7 times, due to the fact that the police department would not bring evidence and or police officers who were required to appear and either or the evidence or the police officers would not show up. If it weren’t for your persistence in filing motions in the court for this evidence and or police officers named this case would have went to trial and I would have been found GUILTY. Many times I was about to give up when you explained to me that could give up, but that you had felt had a solid case and if I did what you had asked of me that you felt with an 80 to 90% confidence, I would be found NOT GUILTY.
Your professionalism, knowledge of all the equipment involved in a DUI, your expert witnesses, and the handling of the entire case is something to be added to the law books. In fact I think it was mentioned that this case is a break through in many way's and that it will go down in case law? I have even went under my name in [Google] and have found the case.
I have not thanked you enough and I cannot thank you enough or express my deepest thanks not only to you, but to your entire staff! The professionalism, knowledge, experience and caring of your staff is second to none!
