Jenna Fliszar (Litigation Associate) is the newest addition to The McShane Firm. She comes to the firm with a strong background in advocacy.

Philosophy

Attorney Fliszar strongly believes in our nation’s Constitution and strives to ensure the rights of her clients are protected. She believes that continuing education in new forensic technology and trial skills are the key to becoming a great litigator. Her eagerness to learn and her passion for the law are what set her apart.

Personal Background

Attorney Fliszar graduated Magna Cum Laude from Alvernia College with a B.A. in Criminal Justice. She graduated from the school’s Honors Program and completed a thesis on the necessity and effectiveness of Pennsylvania’s Sex Offender Registration laws. She was a Senior Scholar finalist and served as President and Treasurer of the Pre-law Society.

After graduation, Attorney Fliszar attended law school at Rutgers University School of Law-Camden in Camden, NJ. There, she was active in the school’s Domestic Violence Project and was appointed the program’s Student Director. She participated in the Domestic Violence Clinic and the Advanced Domestic Violence Clinic, where she represented clients in their Final Restraining Order hearings. She was also active in the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and served as Chair of Projects. She was the recipient of the Rutgers Domestic Violence Project Award for Outstanding Service and the Mary Philbrook Student Public Interest Award, the school’s most prestigious award for public interest work. Attorney Fliszar served as a summer intern with the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office and a legal intern with the SeniorLAW Center of Philadelphia. Prior to coming to The McShane Firm, she worked at Binder and Binder, where she represented clients in their Social Security Disability claims. She currently serves on the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Animal Law Committee and the Commission on Women in the Profession.

In her free time, Attorney Fliszar is active in animal rescue and raising awareness for animal welfare issues. She is an avid baseball fan and enjoys cheering on her favorite team, the New York Yankees. She lives in Harrisburg with her two fur-babies, cats Cartman and Duchess.
