Attorney Dorward forces total dismissal of felony drug charges at court of common pleas

Wednesday July 15, 2009

Today attorney Shawn Dorward forced the district attorney of York to dismiss a felony drug case just moments before jury selection and trial. Attorney Dorward would not give up and give in or go away. Instead, the DA in York county did. Dorward filed motions and obtained a court order to force the district attorney to identify the confidential informant tipster who lead to the stop and the arrest. The DA refused. Just as the potential jury was about to walk in for selection the DA announced to the court it was going to withdraw all charges.

This is just another example of how the attorneys of The McShane Firm fight for you – the citizen accused.

When I got this email from Justin asking me to write a review on him on this site, I dropped everything I was doing to do it. Unfortunately, my daughter has a drug problem. We have been struggling with it for years in the family. She was caught by the police and sold to an undercover. Justin made it get through ARD so she would have no felony on her record and is now a college student and has a bright future. We cannot believe how great he is.

I endorse this lawyer’s work. I have known Justin now for a while, and while I agree he might want to do something about his picture I can say with great enthusiasm he is one of the most motivated and detailed lawyers I know. He is constantly pushing himself and his team forward in the unending quest for legal knowledge; not only does he attend continuing education seminars regularly but he provides the same training for his people. Additionally, he puts on his own seminars for the benefit of other lawyers. He is very well versed and aggressive. Excellent choice.
