Personal Background
Joshua Auriemma graduated from the Penn State University – The Dickinson School of Law. He was the Admissions Editor for Penn State Law Review. He was inducted into both of the Dickinson School of Law’s top honor society, the Woolsock Honor Society and the Order of the Barristers. He was the recipient of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award, CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Trusts & Estates and Dean’s Scholarship. While in law school, he was a Summer Fellow at the Stanford Law School: Center for Internet & Society. He has a hard science background which complements the scientific and forensic science-based defenses that the McShane Firm. LLC are well known for. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Massachusetts where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude, in Physics. He worked at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC): Submillimeter Laboratory as a Radar Data Algorithm Developer. He also worked at Columbia University, Nevis Laboratories collaborating with CERN to develop visualization software for the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Finally, he was employed at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab). When not working, Josh pursues his hobbies which includes being the founder of popular legal tech blog Legal Geekery, with 60,000 unique visitors per month.
