Q: What if your lawyer isn’t with The McShane Firm, LLC and isn’t answering your phone calls?
A: Ignoring phone calls is rude and unprofessional. We hate it when people do it to us and we won’t put up with it. Neither should you. Besides, your attorney is obligated to communicate with you and keep you advised of the progress of your case. The frequency of that communication and the form it takes will vary according to your case. We have a written firm-wide commitment to return all communications within twenty-four (24) hours of it being received. We even maintain an emergency after hours phone line that clients or potential clients can call to talk to an attorney when it is convenient for the client. All attorneys in the McShane Firm, LLC have Blackberry’s and are most responsive to emails. Not all firms, in fact most firms, do not share in our commitment level.
